OUR SERVICES
Quality and Functionality, Guaranteed
Selling your car generally requires a roadworthy safety certificate. This helps minimise the number of poorly maintained cars on the road and offers you peace of mind. Before advertising your car for sale, it pays to have your car appraised and its condition documented, ensuring there are no hidden surprises at the time of sale. NQ Mobile Roadworthy's offers an extensive range of mobile inspections, including general safety inspections, roadworthies and car safety certificates for cars, motorcycles, 4WDs, trucks and buses.
SAFETY CERTIFICATEÂ | ROADWORTHY
Roadworthy inspections or safety certificates cover the major safety-related items on vehicles, including wheels and tyres, steering, suspension and braking systems, seats and the belts, lamps and reflectors, windscreens, wipers, washers, the structure of the car and other related items such as the body, chassis and engine.

A safety certificate is needed if you’re:
-
Selling a registered light vehicle
-

-
Re-registering an unregistered vehicle.

Vehicles that require safety certificates are the following;

Trailers (including caravans) with an aggregate trailer mass (ATM) between 750kg and 3,500kg
-
Any other vehicles up to 4,500kg gross vehicle mass (GVM).

You can drive your unregistered vehicle to get the safety certificate, but make sure you adhere to Queensland Transport guidelines.
